# In Beijing, the "Olympic Games" among robots were held.

A three-day competition among humanoid robots took place in Beijing. 280 teams from 16 countries showcased the capabilities of the bots in running, football, martial arts, jumping, and other disciplines.

The Unitree H1 robot from Unitree Robotics won gold in the 1500-meter race. It completed the distance in 6 minutes and 35 seconds. The human record is 3 minutes and 26 seconds, set by Hicham El Guerrouj.

The Unitree H1 also demonstrated athletic tricks.

On the boxing ring, the G1 models from Unitree competed against each other. They impressed the audience with their punches and kicks.

There were some embarrassing moments. Some robots stumbled on the track, and one even lost an arm. There were practically no passes or tackles on the football field — the game resembled rugby more, where one bot tried to push the ball into the opponent's goal by force.

The olympiad was attended not only by humanoid bots. A robotic arm played table tennis, while wheeled androids threw balls into a basket.

Unitree Robotics won a total of 11 medals, including four golds. X-Humanoid received 10. Also, the prize places were taken by Beijing's Neotix Robotics and Booster Robotics.

Most of the robots were controlled remotely. Tien Kung from X-Humanoid was the only participant in the tournament that operated completely autonomously in the race without human intervention.

The following games are planned to be held in August 2026 also in Beijing.
